Poster Presentations
The poster session will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 2 September in Room CR 1 . The session will consist of a display of all posters on poster boards. Speakers should remain in the vicinity of their poster during this session to answer any questions as attendees circulate around the room.
Poster boards will fit posters of size A1 (594 x 841 mm; portrait or landscape).
Poster presenters should report to the registration desk with their poster by 12:00 on Tuesday 1 September (or as soon as possible on the morning of Wednesday 2 September if attending for one day). They will then be helped to hang their poster by the conference team. We will provide fixings for hanging.
If you wish a digital version of your poster to be shared with attendees, then please upload the PDF format version to ConfTool by Friday 28 August at 17:00. To upload your PDF, please log in to ConfTool and access Your Submissions > Final Upload (Optional).
Paper presentations
Paper presentations will take place in Conference Aston in your assigned room (see conference schedule).
Each paper will be allotted a 25-minute presentation slot, consisting of 20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q+A. This will be followed by 5 minutes for changeover between presentations.
The presentation rooms include a laptop (running Windows) connected to a projector. Presenters can bring their files on a USB drive. PowerPoint and PDF file formats are supported, and there will also be access to a web browser.
Alternatively, if you wish to present from your own laptop, you can share your screen via HDMI or USB-C (for peace of mind, please bring your own adaptor cables).
WiFi is provided throughout the Conference Centre as well.
Where possible, speakers are kindly asked to use breaks before their parallel session to make sure everything is ready for them to present with minimal delays during changeovers.
